Boca Appeal To Parents

The current reality is that the cost of doing business continues to rise. At the same time in view of current economic conditions, we want to keep down the dues to our players.

We are fortunate that we have a Board of Directors that has been willing to raise funds in order to subsidize our operations to a significant level. But, there is still remains a significant gap between our expenses and revenues.

As a result we are appealing to our parents to help us in unique ways that will be less cumbersome than outright raising the fees to fully cover the funding gap.

We have decided to keep club fees low and have kept them to:

$300 for the U6-U8 age groups
$1,200 for the U9-U10 age groups
$1,400 for the U11-U12 age groups
$1,600 for the U13-U17 age groups
$ 0 for the U18 Boys and U18Girls (The Board subsidizes the Academy teams so they can play without paying club dues.)

In order to help narrow the funding gap we are proposing an approach that many universities, schools and other educational institutions use.

We are requesting that our members help by doing one of two things:

a. Make a tax deductible contribution of $300 or
b. Volunteer to assist in planned fund raising events such as the planned Pasta Feast, Fireworks Booth, CASA Club Rafting Day and with BOCA-hosted tournaments.

We are fortunate to finally have an active Fund Raising Committee that is planning and coordinating many promising revenue-generating activities. As a result our volunteer activities stand to generate some much needed funds!

Enrollment Contracts and Player/Parent Conduct forms can be found under "Boca Links". Please sign and give them to the coaches. We look forward to seeing everyone on the field.

Boca Parents,
I finally have some answers to some of the questions regarding uniforms, including the information for the new vendor.
